Major changes to how the Government will conduct Roleplay at Papers have been announced today in the Anti-Crime and Security Act 2024 including sweeping powers to host roleplay events, new roles for Public Health & Emergency Management and making new joint taskforces.

The new Act includes, amongst other things:

  • Powers to Senior Civil Servants to host dynamic, engaging and fun roleplay events,
  • A ban on Senior Civil Servant promotions if they don’t grasp roleplay and host scenarios,
  • Creates a new government-wide Emergency Coordination Officer Training Course,
  • Allows the Government to better control resistance and anti-government groups

These new measures are part of an initiative, personally overseen by the Chancellor, to promote better roleplay at Papers from all Ministries that are capable to do so. The Chancellor will also be writing an open letter to all Senior Civil Servants with clear instructions that roleplay needs to be more fluid and flexible, including prohibiting MoSS from stopping scripted interviews and requiring MoPHEM to account for other medical situations.

Roleplay Freedom

Senior Civil Servants have been given new powers to host engaging roleplay events including (but not limited too):

  • Checkpoints,
  • Murder/Crime Investigations,
  • Public Health Screenings,
  • Hostage Situations,

They are expected to use these new powers and will be required to host (or co-host) a roleplay scenario at least two times a month.

Ban on Promotions

Senior Civil Servants will be banned from promotions, medals and awards if they fail to meet the requirements to host events and engage in roleplay. This has been devised to ensure that leaders are leading by example and providing great opportunities for all.

Emergency Coordination and Management

The Ministry of Public Health and Emergency Management has been given government-wide responsibility for the coordination of non-combat emergencies at Papers, including a new Emergency Coordination Officers Certification Programme. This new programme will allow Senior Civil Servants to undergo a training programme and then, at the end of the programme, they’ll be given new powers to:

  • Issue orders to responding Ministries on how they should act,
  • Direct the creation of staging areas and roadblocks,
  • Coordinate the activities of all responding Ministries,
  • Requisition property to establish a Command Headquarters

The Government are also looking at acquiring new uniforms and special accessories for Emergency Coordination Officers.

Joint Task Forces

The Law has permitted Ministers to come together and create joint task forces to coordinate affairs, security operations and learn things from eachother.

EZIC Liasons

EZIC will be allowed to appoint two liasons to assist with roleplay planning including hostage situations and other forms of criminal activity.
