The Cabinet

The Cabinet's primary role is to advise the Chancellor on the functioning of the Government and decisions she should take relating to Regulations and Administration.

About the Cabinet

The Cabinet consists of the Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Non-Ministerial Advisors who collectively form the Federal Cabinet, the highest body in the Government below the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor. The Cabinet meets on a weekly basis to discuss government administration, decide upon reforms and policies and hold eachother accountable for various areas of the civil administration.

The Chancellor chairs the Cabinet and sets all agendas for the meetings, Ministers are the only individuals permitted to vote on cabinet resolutions with other members being purely advisory and consultative.
