In a Meeting of the Senate on the 30th March 2024 it was agreed to make changes to the Raiding Regulations for Papers to ensure fairness and good gameplay. Take note of the new rules below as they come into force from the 1st April 2024.

These regulations are NOT an April Fools Joke – You will be enforced upon for breaking them

Immigrant Raiding

Constantly raiding on the Immigrant or Civilian Team will no longer be permitted. If you wish to do nothing but kill and cause chaos you will be required to join the Criminals Team or a resistance group like EZIC.

This rule change has been made to ensure a fairer balance of gameplay between Immigrants, Criminals and IRF Personnel. As Papers becomes more roleplay-orientated we need to separate out consistant raiding from those genuinely trying to play the game, own stores etc.

This rule change does not make it banned to kill on the Immigrant/Citizen team – you can still roleplay and you can still commit murders etc, this just targets people that use it to constantly raid and cause chaos.

This rule change will be enforced by anyone with Administrative Permissions and will be enforced as such:

  • If a moderator notices you are consistently raiding they will be permitted to team you to Criminals,
  • If you continue to switch back and engage in more raiding they will be permitted to kick you once,
  • If you continue you will be serverbanned

Moderators will be required to use common sense and fairness when coming to their decisions to team people – they are expected to “clip” the constant raiding or find at least 2 witnesses to corroborate their decision only if it’s challenged.

Spawnkilling

It will no longer be considered Spawnkilling to kill Criminals that are coming from the Inner-City Spawn. This is because they are presented with a choice of spawn positions and it wouldn’t make sense to enforce Spawnkilling when you are choosing to deliberately spawn in a dangerous area.

Spawncamping still remains against the rules.

FF Killing

A reminder that it is against the Game Rules to kill/detain/arrest/enforce using tools whilst you are forcefielded.
