The Federal Chancellery is today announcing it’s intention to launch the Government Officers Admin Test within the next two weeks. This test, referred to as the GOAT, will become mandatory for anyone with admin access to sit before they are granted in-game administrative privileges.
This means that:
- Admin will no longer be given on rank with the exception of Government Command,
- All Government Employees with Admin, including GA, will need to take a satisfactory GOAT Examination,
- GOAT Tests will not be permanent and will require re-sitting upon major changes to admin rules or incidents,
This scheme has been introduced at the behest of the Chancellor and was mostly crafted by the former Secretary to the Chancellor Chaotic_EviI. It is designed to promote better admin use, ensure people are checked on the Regulations and ensure that Admin isn’t unneccessarily given out. The Chancellor will also be proposing to the Military that they consider implementing the GOAT System.
There will be a transitional period of one to two weeks when the system is introduced for people to book an examination before the switchover is made. Failing the GOAT Examination will render you ineligible to be considered for admin until you retake it and pass. Changes will also be made including:
- Government Officers who gain admin through the Military will not be allowed to use it on Government Teams until they take a GOAT Test,
- Admin Abuse will now lead to GOAT Certificate Removal on-top of further disciplinary action
The GOAT will be administered by the Fourth Section of the Federal Chancellery.
