The Government has today (21st January) announced that the result of the Disciplinary Consultation is as follows:

21 people in favour of all or some parts of the proposal and 14 people against some or all parts of the proposal. 3 people remained neutral.

As such over 50% of the Cabinet has unanimously voted to abolish all disciplinary departments within the Government

On the matter the Chancellor has stated:

“This new decision has paved the way for the future of Government Discipline in such a way that will lead to a streamlined system and a more efficient administration of justice”

As a result of this new development IAs will be transferred to FISA within the next few weeks.
